Pulpit Manager
Every desktop its own icons, one quiet hub.
Give every Mission Control desktop its own icons — plus a quiet hub for your clipboard, files and quick tools at the top of the screen.
Free to download · Premium from $2.99/month
Requires macOS 14 Sonoma or later · menu-bar app

Classic — the hub pours in from the top edge, round tabs floating beneath it.
Three looks of the same hub, plus the Drop Bar — pick yours in Settings.
Every desktop, its own icons.
macOS shows the same Desktop on every Space. Pulpit Manager gives each Mission Control desktop its own set of icons — and Finder still draws everything, so thumbnails, clicks and wallpaper stay 100% native.
- 01
Switch a Space — the icons switch too
In “Each desktop” mode every Mission Control Space keeps its own set of icons. Swipe between Spaces or press ⌃⌥←/→ and the desktop swaps instantly.
- 02
Or save named desktops
Work, Home, Studio — every saved desktop has a name, a colour and an icon. Add, rename and switch them straight from the hub.
- 03
Your files never move
Everything stays in your Desktop folder. Pulpit Manager only changes which icons are visible — Finder keeps drawing the real thing.

One Mac, two desktops — the icons follow the Space.
Presentation mode — hide every icon for a clean screen share
Tidy up — sweep loose files into Documents, Images and friends
⌃⌥⌘D — the emergency off that brings everything back
One panel at the top of the screen.
Flick the cursor to the top edge or press ⌃⌥Space. The hub holds the tools you reach for all day — pick and reorder the tabs in Settings.

Which Macs are supported?
Any Mac on macOS 14 Sonoma or later. Pulpit Manager runs as a menu-bar app, with no Dock icon.

Will it mess up my desktop?
No. Finder still draws everything and your files stay in your Desktop folder. Turn it off — or press ⌃⌥⌘D — and your normal desktop returns instantly.
Does it send my data anywhere?
